I wanted to create a character that was neither a girl that loves only pink and princesses nor a boy that loves only trucks and superheroes. Jess is that creation.
      You might think Jess is Jesse or Jessica. That's fine with me.
      Jess is green. I did not want to choose a race for Jess.
      The jumping activity is one all kids like.  I put in little animals and illustrations on each page because it is something I like. 
       My grand-kids find Jess to be a fun child and the book easy to read or just finish the rhymes.
