JESS BOOKS BY GEORGIE

    I never planned to be an illustrator of children's books. My degree in physical education led me to teaching preschool gymnastics and later special needs children.
  After retirement I took many types of art lessons.  My watercolor teacher passed away and I was hungry for another class
    "Picture Book Illustration" was offered at the community college.  The instructor, Sean Long, helped me develop the character Jess.
    My wonderful husband, Bob, my three daughters, and my five grandchildren, have been amazingly helpful and supportive in producing this, my first book.
      A second book is in the works. Jess flies kite, bakes cookies and dresses up as superheroes and princesses.
